you are also wrong and intrusive into a personal privacy as to how I choose to commune in prayer with God. Jesus taught we do not make a "show" of praying, that our prayers are a private matter between oneself and God the father. In this we may choose to kneel, we may choose to bow our heads or we may choose to prostrate.
Some Biblical prophets heard Gods voice.. And YHWH also revealed in part His glory to them. You know nothing about the closeness of Christians to God, we live our life through the guidance of His Holy Spirit and by the truth of His Word, Jesus. If we don't ask ourselves each day what can we do to the glory of God? Then we are lacking.. I am here now, by Gods will.. Because the still small voice of The Lord my God tells me to be true to my heart and try and bring understanding to others. By understanding I do not mean.. Think as I do.. Or take up thy cross and follow Christ, only God decides such things, for small people like ourselves we can only share the Word. I would like to see such a video. Because I find it odd that any Christian priest... (I'm thinking he must be catholic, as they use the term priest.) that firstly, would use the Quran at all in reference to Jesus because there is very little in the Quran about Jesus. I feel you already know my answer here, which would necessitate a discussion on the triune concept of God and as muslims are unable to grasp this concept I see very little point in entering such dialogue as it will lead no where. You know God has no equal.. So why would you say such? Christians believe that God, His Word and His Spirit exist in loving community. There is no task for every god... As there is only ONE GOD.. God the father is the creator and divine power, His word and His Spirit both of which He uses to commune with mankind are of God and as such do not act independently of Gods divine will. I really can't make it any clearer and really have no wish to teach you anything you are not wanting or needing to know, as a Muslim it should not impact upon your person at all how a Christian knows God. You just need to understand that it is how God has chosen to reveal Himself to us. You have chosen not to believe what Jesus said about Himself and have refused His gift, that is a choice you make and the consequences of which you will reap upon yourself. It will not impact upon my person. Yet I do wish for you to achieve redemption and pray your soul will also find peace.

Im tired and frustrated that my posts take so long to appear on the forum, whereas the posts of other members don't seem to take so long to "vet". Friend, I assure you... You are not the cause of my being tired and frustrated. It is the difficulty I have compiling posts and the length of time it takes to post anything. Everything takes so long to load with this site, yet I do not have this problem with other websites. Also I guess, I get the impression that any information I provide is largely ignored, which means we forever circle each other repeating what has already been said. :) I agree this is not about winning or losing that doesn't bother me and is not my aim. I just seek clarity and hopefully to dispel misunderstandings about my belief as a Christian. I find it odd you choose the Gospel of John to seek to prove Jesus was nothing more than a man, when the very nature of the Gospel of John is concerned with explaining the divinity of Jesus, through the words, deeds and teachings of Jesus Himself. It differs from the three synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke in this respect. If you took the time to read more of John you would see far from proving Jesus as a mere mortal man... I quoted a link to the entire content of discussion on the council of Nicea, it was rather lengthy, I have no reason to go through it all again. The trinity was not "invented" at Nicea, the council was to discuss mainly the divinity of Christ Jesus. -- I am wondering .What is the highest rank and value can man reach to in that universe? The president of the biggest and the richest country,or the president of all that world. Allah (pbth) honoured and raised the rank and value of those men in that world and in the hereafter . In the hereafter they will be in the highest place in Paradise.What rank is better than that?. Nonsense, there is no need for research into ones faith. If your faith on God depends on research and logic then what an empty faith that is. As a Christian I have utmost faith in God, my creator, my sustainer. I have utmost faith in Gods Holy Spirit, my guide and my inspiration. I have utmost faith in Christ Jesus.. My saviour and my redeemer who never a lie was found on His lips so when Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. I have the utmost faith that he was telling the truth.

Yes, all the Biblical prophets worshipped the same God, as did Jesus and as Christians do today. Muslims have an incomplete picture of the Biblical prophets. Many, including Abraham and Moses experienced God manifested before them. You do not believe this because the Quran is ambiguous at best in regards to the Bible prophets, however the Bible is very clear on this point and I have no reason to doubt it as it makes more sense to me that the alternative version found in the Quran.

I tire of repeating the same points.. That being I do not understand why the Quran makes such claims about God having no son, no wife, no partners and no equal. This is NOT new... Jews and Christians never held such views. In fact the only people who may have held such a view I believe would have been the pagan tribes of Arabia at that time, the very same pagan tribes that Mohammed was called to bring to the one God.

Many bible prophets heard God, spoke with God and saw manifestations of God. That you do not see that it is perfectly possible for our God as all powerful creator to manifest His Divine being to mankind if He so wished to I believe places limits on Our God. I have heard of the term Islam meaning submission to God, but as to how it also means peace I shall have to take your word for that as the root meaning of peace and submission are very different I feel. The Gospels followed the Old Testament, the Jewish scriptures, the Quran denies the Bible as Gods word, muslims do not accept what the Bible claims for itself, preferring to believe it has been corrupted by man, yet even when making such a claim do not see how incongruous it is, that God failed to protect His message being changed by His creation ..mankind. If we ask the questions when was the Bible message changed.. By whom..how was it accomplished.. And what was the purpose of changing it and more importantly where is the proof of such claim?

That is it... It says in the Quran.. That is for you to believe as your sacred scripture from Allah through Mohammed. My sacred scriptures give me a different picture, and for me this picture is brighter and clearer and I believe that Gods Holy Spirit gives me that clarity. See my friend, I believe God sets us on our path and if it is Gods will that path be changed then then it is God who shows us a different route... Maybe one that we can understand the better. As we are all different we each perceive things differently and as such need to learn the way to Gods love by different means.

I believe I have to the best of my ability explained why Christians believe the term "Son" when applied to Jesus is unique in meaning and distinguishes Jesus from other usage of the term "Son". I have also supplied links to websites to aid a better understanding as my explanation is obviously lacking. So I do not feel I can add any more to clarify this point.

Because Jesus never gave us a middle road.. Jesus gave us a clear path to tread. You misunderstand what the term "Son of Man" infers.
Prophet Daniel... 600 years before Christ said..

“As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language worshiped him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.” Daniel 7:13-14

“For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” Matthew 16:27-28


“Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.’” Matthew 19:28


“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’” Matthew 25:31-34


“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send HIS angels and gather HIS elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.” Mark 13:26-27


“Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, ‘Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?’ But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?’ ‘I am,’ said Jesus. ‘And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.’ The high priest tore his clothes. ‘Why do we need any more witnesses?’ he asked. ‘You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?’” Mark 14:60-64


The term Son of Man was always linked to the messiah in Jewish scripture, Jesus was that messiah. The Gospels and the Quran agree on this point.
