The simplest example of distortion of the Bible

    Leviticus 26:29

You will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.

    Deuteronomy 28:53

Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you.

    Deuteronomy 28:56-57

The most gentle and sensitive woman among you?so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot?will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For she intends to eat them secretly during the siege and in the distress that your enemy will inflict on you in your cities.

    2 Kings 6:29

So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, 'Give up your son so we may eat him,' but she had hidden him."

    Jeremiah 19:9

I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another's flesh during the stress of the siege imposed on them by the enemies who seek their lives.'

    Lamentations 2:20

"Look, O LORD, and consider: Whom have you ever treated like this? Should women eat their offspring, the children they have cared for? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?

    Lamentations 4:10

With their own hands compassionate women have cooked their own children, who became their food when my people were destroyed.

John Gill says in his commentary...

shall the women eat their fruit; their children, the fruit of their womb, as the Targum; their newborn babes, that hung at their breasts, and were carried in their arms; it seems they did, as was threatened they should, Leviticus 26:29; and so they did at the siege of Samaria, and at the siege of Jerusalem, both by the Chaldeans and the Romans:

[and] children of a span long? or of a hand's breadth; the breadth of the palms of the hand, denoting very little ones: or "children handled," or "swaddled with the hands" (John Gill's Exposition to the Bible, Commentary on Lamentations 2:20,

These were very poor innocent little babies being eaten by their parents. How cruel!

    John Gill says somewhere else...

And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons,.... Which was fulfilled at the siege of Samaria, in the times of Joram, 2 Kings 6:29 and at the siege of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, Lamentations 4:10; and though there is no instance of it at that time in the sacred records, the Jews {p} tells us of one Doeg ben Joseph, who died and left a little one with his mother, who was very fond of him; but at this siege slew him with her own hands, and ate him, with respect to which they suppose Jeremiah makes the lamentation, Lamentations 2:2; and of this also there was an instance at the last siege of Jerusalem, by Titus, when a woman, named Mary, of a considerable family, boiled her son, and ate part of him, and the rest was found in her house when the seditious party broke in upon her, as Josephus {q} relates:

and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat; of which, though no instances are given, it is as reasonable to suppose it was done as the former. Some of the Jewish writers {r} think, that in this prediction is included, that children should eat their parents, as well as parents their children, as in Ezekiel 5:10. (John Gill's Exposition to the Bible, Commentary on Leviticus 26:29, e)

If it wasn't enough that parents were made to eat their children, but the children were also made to eat their parents as we can see in the follow verse...

    Ezekiel 5:10

Therefore in your midst fathers will eat their children, and children will eat their fathers. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds.

Family Members Ordered To Eat Each Other Up

    How can God be
This is just ridiculous...you cannot quote random verses out of context and expect them to make sense.

Twelve Proofs that Muhammad is a True Prophet

My brothers and sisters everywhere! With this essay, I am not singling out the adherents of Islam - to which I ascribe - but rather I am writing this essay to every man and woman throughout the whole world.

I ask Allah that He facilitates tat this essay reaches every ear, falls under the sight of every eye, and is understood by every heart...

Muhammad the son of `Abdullah is Allah's Prophet and the Final Messenger Sent by Allah to the Inhabitants of Earth.

My brothers and sisters everywhere! You should know that the Messenger, Muhammad the son of `Abdullah (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) is Allah's Messenger in reality and truth. The evidences that show his veracity are abundant. None but an infidel, who out of arrogance alone, could deny these signs.

      Among these proofs:

      1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

      2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book.

      3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Koran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Koran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Koran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Koran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Koran.

      4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.

      5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once.

      6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history.

Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him.

      7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him.

Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves.

Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life.

During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the mosque, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed.

All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings.

      8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet.

      9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers.

Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion.

My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge.

      10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up.

Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy.

Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth.

      11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought.

In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching.

All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring an) of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection.

      12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad, (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion.

The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).
Can this be proof? Again based on belief and faith, which is good if you are muslim, but does not stand up if not a muslim.

The Bible tells us we are to test any Prophet and gave us the criteria to do so.

For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. See, I (Jesus) have told you ahead of time. (Matthew 24:24-25, NIV)

Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22, NIV)

Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1, NIV).

For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14, NIV).

We test a prophet by examining his prophecy to see whether it is true. The prophecy of Muhammad is recorded in the Qur'an so you can test what the Qur'an says to see whether Muhammad is a true prophet according to previous scriptures.

The Qur'an makes three claims as to why Muhammad is a true prophet. These claims are "testable". These claims are:

The Qur'an confirms the teaching of the Jewish and Christian scriptures.

The Qur'an makes clearer the teaching of the Jewish and Christian scriptures.

Muhammad is foretold in the Jewish and Christian scriptures.
The Jewish and Christian scriptures are the writings of the prophets and are contained in the Bible. These include the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel.

So you can see its plain that Mohammed fails this test.

What do you mean by special features
Example.. Allah tells that a man is allowed four wives in Islam, yet Mohammed had many more than this number. Apparently with Allah's blessing. Mohammed also married the wife of his step son..or so I have been led to believe. Although this was forbidden, we see Allah again grants Mohammed special favour by allowing this.

To every Christian do not object.
          The Evil Bible.

            never
As I have never questioned my faith in God. But I have questioned the scriptures supporting my faith. As we are encouraged to do as Christians. There is no blame to us if we decide our path to God lies in another direction. But once you have understood the message of the Christ, allowed the Holy Spirit to guide your path, then you are embraced in Gods eternal love.

You of course will not understand this.

              I do not understand
What you ask of a Christian, is to accept God as a deceiver, to deny all the evidence and prophecies we have been given and a message that has stood for two housand years and will stand another two thousand and more till all eternity.

All this we give up on the evidence of one man who claims to have had a revelation from the Angel Gabriel, the very same Angel who brought the message to Mary of her conception and birth of Jesus. So we must also believe Angel Gabriel also deceives.

But we know, the one who is the great deceiver, and has been Gods adversary from the beginning of time. Who's aim is to destroy Gods work, but lacking power to act against God himself seeks to use mankind to do his will.

What better way to lead mankind away from the true path and Gods eternal love be denied to us. We are taught that Christ is the true path to God. Ask yourself who denies Christs death and resurrection. Our way to salvation and part of Gods plan...Who do you prostrate to when you pray?

                Very funny
                Yes you are...NOT.
I find you crass, rude and lacking in grace. This dialogue ends here for me. I suggest maybe in future you would gain more from "guest" members if you did not treat their beliefs with such disregard.

have a peaceful and happy life. Goodbye.

The One True God is not a concept unique to Islam. Your post offers no proof of your claim, this is your belief, based on what the Quran tells you.
Very funny. Do you know that the Quran is a book of Muslim faith
If you want to know our belief in the Quran
We do not re-invent the faith but not in the word of God

This difference between Muslim and Christian
The book does not have Christian faith and is like an atheist

There is no contradiction between the Old and New Testaments, this comes from your misguided understanding of the scriptures.

Your Prophet Mohammed did not believe the previous scriptures were distorted.

[COLOR="black"][COLOR="black"][COLOR="black"][COLOR="Blue"]5/A very important section of the Qur'an which deals with the scripture of the Jews and Christians and their relation to the Qur'an is Surah 5:43-49. These verses record how Jews came to Muhummad to ask him for a decision, and it tells the answer he was to give them.

How come they (come) unto thee (Muhammad) for judgment when they have the Torah, wherein Allah hath delivered judgment (for them)? ... Lo! We did reveal the Torah, wherein is guidance and a light ... And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah - a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil). Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers.

And unto thee (Muslims) have We revealed the Scripture (the Qur'an) with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it. So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee. For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way. Had Allah willed He could have made you one community. But that He may try you by that which He hath given you (He hath made you as ye are). So vie one with another in good works. Unto Allah ye will all return, and He will then inform you of that wherein ye differ. (5:43-48, MP)

God sent down, the Torah for the Jews. The Gospel of the New Testament for the Christians. Islam for the Muslims...all three scriptures should be considered as of equal importance...if they are from God, as in the ONE TRUE GOD.
Note: all lying on the site that you copy and paste it. Been answered

They (the Jews) wanted to distort (yuharrifoon) the words out of their places just as Allah the Most High described them, so instead of saying Assalamu Alaykum' (peace be upon you), they say Assaam' (poison) (Abû al-Walîd Sulaymân ibn Khalaf al-Bâjî, Al Muntaqaa Sharh Muwata' Maalik, Kitab: Al Jaami', Bab: Ma Jaa'a fi Al Salaam A'ala Al Yahoodi wal Nasraani, Commentary on Hadith no. 1514, e)

The main problem with Christians who put forth these arguments is that they fail to identify and understand how the Qur'an uses the terms 'Torah' and 'Gospel' in the Qur'an. When the Qur'an talks about the Torah and Gospel, one of its intentions is to speak about the original revelations sent to Moses and Jesus peace be upon them both respectively. Sometimes the Qur'an or authentic hadith might appear to be speaking about the Torah and Gospel, which Jews and Christians refer to.

For example, when I debate the topic 'Did Jesus Claim Divinity' with Christians, I usually issue this challenge 'Show me where Jesus claimed divinity in the Gospel'. Now, my intention here is that I am referring to the Gospel referred to by Christians and that is the combined four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. However, my intention is not to state that this is the actual Gospel that God revealed to Jesus peace be upon him. So the word is used in different contexts and Christians fail to identify this when it comes to studying the Qur'an and authentic hadith.

Now Christian missionaries pose the verses above in order to try and show that the Qur'an informs the Christians and Jews to abide by their scriptures and that this allegedly indicates that the scriptures that they possess are uncorrupted. However, is that what the verses are actually saying?

How do we understand those verses in light of other verses in the Qur'an that state the Torah was a meant as a guide in the past prior to the Qur'an and not before...

                    Surah 11:17

Prior to this (Quran), the book of Moses served as a guide, and was a blessing

                    Surah 46:12

Prior to this, the book of Moses was the guide and mercy. This book, (the Qur'an) is in the Arabic language and it confirms and validates (the book of Moses).

Ibn Kathir says in his commentary...

This means that before the Qur'an, there was the Book of Musa, the Tawrah.

(a guidance and a mercy) This means that Allah, the Exalted, revealed it to that Ummah as a leader for them and a guide for them to follow, as a mercy from Allah upon them. Therefore, whoever believed in it with true faith, then it would lead him to believe in the Qur'an as well. For this reason Allah said,

(they believe therein) Then Allah, the Exalted, threatens those who reject the Qur'an, or any part of it, by saying,

(but those of the sects that reject it, the Fire will be their promised meeting place.) This is directed towards everyone on the face of the earth who disbelieves in the Qur'an, whether they are idolators, disbelievers, People of the Scripture, or other sects from the descendants of Adam. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, )

We see that the Torah was meant as a guide for the people of Prophet Moses's (peace be upon him) time. However, now it is the Qur'an, which is the guide that all mankind must follow...

                    Surah 2:185

The month of Ramadaan is that in which the Qur'an was revealed as a guidance for mankind with clear proofs of guidance and discrimination. Therefore, whosoever is present at home in this month let him fast therein. But whoso is temporarily sick or on a journey, shall fast the same number of other days, ALLAH desires ease for you and HE desires not hardship for you, and HE desires that you may complete the number, and that you may exalt ALLAH for HIS having guided you and that you may be grateful.

                    Surah 5:68

Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.

                    Surah 18:54

And, surely, WE have explained in various ways in this Qur'an for the good of mankind all manner of similitudes, but of all things man is most contentious.

                    Surah 30:58

Verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou camest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters!

                    Surah 39:27

And, indeed, WE have set forth for mankind all manner of parables in this Qur'an that they may take heed.

The Qur'an makes it clear that it is for all mankind. There is no exclusion of the people of the book in this regard. Surah 5:68 is especially interesting since it is commanding the Christians and Jews to not only follow the Torah and Gospel, but the Qur'an as well.

The Qur'an states that it is also meant for the children of Israel...

                    Surah 27:76-77

Verily, this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. And verily it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers.

Imam Tabari states in his commentary on verse 76...

They differed in regards of Jesus, the Jews said what they said, and the Christians said what they said.

So the Lord said: It is this Qur'an that will inform you of the truth of what you differed over, therefore follow it, and do what it orders you. For it informs you of the truth and guides you to the righteous path. (Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, Jami' al-bayan fi ta'wil al-Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 27:76, Source)

The Qur'an is clear that it is meant as a guide for the Children of Israel as well by explaining the truth of what they differed in the past in regards to issues such as Jesus for example.

Now what do those verses posed by Christian missionaries really mean?

Let's look at the first verse posed...

                    Surah 5:43

How come they (come) unto thee (Muhammad) for judgment when they have the Torah, wherein Allah hath delivered judgment (for them)?

I will give a brief background regarding the context of this verse's revelation. What happened is that one time there was an adulterer from amongst the Jews whom the Jews had to punish. They went to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) seeking advice as to what they should do with the man. The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied back that they should judge this man according to their own Law and that was stoning the adulterer. They tried to hide the verse from the Prophet (peace be upon him) but the Prophet's companion Abdullah ibn Salam who was familiar with the scriptures pointed out the verse and exposed the Jews deception. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) had that man stoned in accordance with the law found in the Torah.

Allah then revealed Surah 5:43 in order to criticize the Jews who did this.

Imam Jalal ud-Din Siyuti says in his commentary on this verse...

But how is it that they make you their judge when they have the Torah, wherein is God's judgment, of stoning: the interrogative here is for [provoking] amazement, in other words, they were not seeking thereby [by making you their judge] to discover the truth but a lighter punishment for them; and then they turn away, [and then] they reject your ruling of stoning, which accords with what is in their Scripture, after that, request [to you] for arbitration? Such are not believers. (Jalal ud-Din Siyuti, Tafsir al-Jalalayn, Commentary on Surah 5:43, e)

                    Ibn Kathir states...

Allah then chastises the Jews for their false ideas and deviant desires to abandon what they believe is true in their Book, and which they claim is their eternal Law that they are always commanded to adhere to. Yet, they do not adhere to the Tawrah, but they prefer other laws over it, although they believe that these other laws are not correct and do not apply to them. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Source)

Imam Tabari has it in his commentary...

How is it, that you Jews seek the judgment of the Prophet peace be upon him while you reject his Prophethood and declare it to be false, and you leave the ruling of God which you believe to be true for your selves and compulsory on you and it is brought to you from Moses from Allah? (Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, Jami' al-bayan fi ta'wil al-Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 5:43, e)

So here we can clearly see that Allah is simply pointing out the inconsistent stance of the Jews in regards to their beliefs. They believe that what they have is from God and reject the Prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). Yet, they leave what they believe is from God but go to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for guidance. Truly this is inconsistent and ridiculous and the Qur'an is merely pointing it out.

So this is what the verse is intending to communicate. It is not informing the reader of the Qur'an that the Jews posses uncorrupt scripture. Someone might argue that the verse states that the judgment of Allah is present in the Torah of the Jews. However, this is only specific to the judgment that the adulterer must be stoned.

Imam Al Qurtubi has it in his commentary on this verse...

And it is asked: "Does the statement of Allah 'and in it is the judgment of Allah' imply that it was not abrogated?"

The answer: Abu Ali said: "Yes, because if it was abrogated then it won't be referred to as a judgment of Allah, just as the allowance of alcohol or forbiddance of Saturdays are not referred to as rulings of Allah. (Abu 'Abdullah al-Qurtubi, Tasfir al Jami' li-ahkam al-Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 5:43, Source)

Imam Ibn Hajar discusses the opinions that validate the entire Torah depending upon the event of stoning of the Jews according to the Torah, he says:

Some argued that they (Jews) did not omit (yusqitu) any of its words (the Torah), but their argument is indefinite because of the possibility that it was confined to this event and does not lead to generalization. (Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani, Fath-ul-Bari fe Sharh Sahih-el-Bukhari, Book of "Legal Punishments", Chapter 39, Number 5620)

As Ibn Hajar rightfully points out, to assume that the Qur'an is claiming that the entire Torah in the possession of the Jews at that time is uncorrupt just because a judgment of Allah is be found in it is an invalid opinion. The Qur'anic verse only proves that the certain judgment regarding stoning the adulterer is truly from God in the Jewish scripture, it does not necessitate that the entire Torah in the Jewish possession at that time is from God.

As a matter of fact, when someone examines the ruling of what should be done to the adulterer in the Bible and in Islamic teachings he would realize that the Torah according to Islam has been textually corrupted.

Let us read the following narration...

The Jews brought [to the Prophet peace be upon him] a man and a woman among them who committed adultery. The Prophet peace be upon him said, "Bring the two most knowledgeable men from amongst you." The Jews brought the two sons of Suriyya, and the Prophet peace be upon him asked them, "What punishment do you find in the Torah regarding these two?" They said, "In the Torah, we find that if four men testify that they saw his male organ in her womb, similar to when the eyeliner is inserted inside the eyeliner container; in this case they are stoned." The Prophet peace be upon him said, "What made you stop stoning?" They said, "Our kingship (meaning Jewish) was taken from us and we hated killing." The Messenger of Allah asked for four witnesses and they brought four men who testified that they saw his penis in her womb like the eyeliner is inserted in the eyeliner container. The Messenger of Allah ordered that the two [adulterers] are stoned. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith no. 3862, Source. Sheikh Albani declared this hadith authentic in Sunan Abu Dawud, hadith no.4452)

Indeed, we do find in the Old Testament today that adulterers are to be killed (Leviticus 20:10). But nowhere do we find anything about four witnesses (interestingly Islam teaches this) or any eyeliner.

This is indirect proof that this section of the Torah has been distorted with.

Let's look at the second verse posed...

                    Surah 5:47

Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers.

Imam Al Qurtubi has it in his commentary...

The people of the Gospel ruled by the Gospel at that particular time (meaning the time it was revealed to Jesus), as for now it is abrogated and it is said that this is an order for the Christians of this time to have faith in Muhammad (peace be upon him) because according to the Gospel it is compulsory for them to do so. (Abu 'Abdullah al-Qurtubi, Tasfir al Jami' li-ahkam al-Qur'an, Commentary on Surah 5:43, )

Focus on what the second part of the verse says...

                    Surah 5:47

Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers.

Regarding the second part of the verse, Imam Al Qurtubi says...

And whoever does not rule by what Allah has revealed from the Qur'an, and abandons the saying of the Messenger (peace be upon him) then he is a disbeliever. Ibn Abbas and Mujahid said that this verse is general and applies to everyone. Ibn Mas'ud and Al Hassan said: "It is general to all those who don't rule by what Allah has revealed from amongst the Muslims, Jews and disbelievers." (Ibid.)

This verse refers to the Gospel, which is not distorted and altered. Allah is referring in these verses to the commands He stated in the original Gospel so that all the verses are about the unchanged or unaltered commands of Allah in the Gospel.

Allah commands the Christians to judge by the revealed Book, not by the New Testament which is a collection of books written by a wide variety of authors. In this case, Christians are unable to judge by these Books except through the Holy Qur'an and acceptance of Prophet Muhammad's message. This is the only possible way to judge by the Gospel because the Qur'an was sent down affirming its original message and is a protector over it. This is emphasized in verse 48...

                    Surah 5:48

                    And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did We appoint a law and a way, and if Allah had pleased He would have made you (all) a single people, but that He might try you in what He gave you, therefore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all (of you), so He will let you know that in which you differed;

Ibn Kathir quotes well known Qur'anic commentator Ibn Jarir Al Tabari as saying...

Ibn Jarir said, "The Qur'an is trustworthy over the Books that preceded it. Therefore, whatever in these previous Books conforms to the Qur'an is true, and whatever disagrees with the Qur'an is false.'' (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Source, You can also see Al Tabari saying this himself in his commentary on Surah 2:41)

Imam al-Tabari relates from the eminent Jurist Ibn Juraij (80-150 AH/699-767 CE) that if the people of the book quote something from their Bible that disagrees with the Qur'an then we reject it but if it agrees with the Qur'an then we accept it. (Source) Imam al-Bahgawi also quotes the opinion of Ibn Juraij in his commentary. (Tafsir Al Baghawi, 1/65)

The Qur'an is the protector of the Gospel and Torah. But which Gospel and Torah? It is the original revelations sent to Jesus and Moses (peace be upon them) both and whatever of it survives today (e.g. prophecies of Muhammad peace be upon him to come) in the scriptures of the Christians and Jews today.

So, what is meant here by the Gospel is the original revealed Book before it got corrupted and altered. And there is no way to judge by it except by conferring the Qur'an which is a protector over it; for it bears witness to what Allah has revealed in it and exposes what people falsely entered into and removed from it.

Other commentators have stated that if the Christians judge by the Gospel then they are in a way accepting the Prophecies of Muhammad peace be upon him in the Gospel, which in turn leads them to accepting Islam.

This is just ridiculous...you cannot quote random verses out of context and expect them to make sense.
You are cruel . This brutality and terrorism in the Bible

I provided evidence from the Bible and other evidence but you don't want to recognize

Question: how the Prophet Muhammad knew everything about Christianity? You know that the Prophet Muhammad did not know writing, not reading

It is important you understand you are what you say

Are you sure you are a Christian

Why should degrade religions. Act as an atheist

                                Warning:

Speaking with respect for God and Gabriel and the Prophet Muhammad.

                                Sin in Islam

Islam teaches that God (Allah) has sent guidance to human beings, through His prophets and books of revelation. As believers, we are expected to follow that guidance to the best of our ability.
Islam defines sin as an act which goes against the teachings of Allah. All human beings sin, as none of us is perfect. Islam teaches that Allah, Who created us and all of our imperfections, knows this about us and is All-Forgiving, Merciful, and Compassionate.

What is the definition of a “sin”? The Prophet Muhammad once said, "Righteousness is good character, and sin is that which wavers in your heart and which you do not want people to know about."

In Islam, there is nothing like the Christian concept of original sin, for which all human beings are eternally punished. Nor does sinning automatically cause someone to be ousted from the faith of Islam. We each try our best, we each fall short, and we each (hopefully) seek Allah’s forgiveness for our shortcomings. Allah is prepared to forgive, as the Quran describes: "…God will love you and forgive you your sins; for God is Much-Forgiving, a Dispenser of Grace" (Quran 3:31).

Of course, sin is something to be avoided. From an Islamic perspective, however, there are some sins which are extremely serious and are thus known as Major Sins. These are mentioned in the Quran as being worthy of punishment both in this world and the hereafter
