We see in the first gospel, (Matthew), the first chapter is talking about "The Generation of Jesus Christ".
Firstly, the paragraph contradict itself, because Jesus has no father from human being, he is not a result of human seed, He is the word of God (which is: Be), he was created only from his mother (He has no father at all), So, it is a lie to say "Generations of Jesus", and start with Jesus is the son of Joseph!! Whereas Joseph only adopted Jesus, not begotten him.
So if Matthew wanted to say that he (Jesus) is a son of David, he is laying, because according to Matthew, Joseph is the son of David, and Joseph is not the father of Jesus (Jesus is not a result of his seed).
Secondly, this text contradicts the text in Luke, you can see the contradiction in the table bellow, (see the difference in years between the two list, at least 1000 years), we can easily notice that the No.2, for example (Joseph) is one thousand years elder in Matthew than himself in Luke!!:

Furthermore, Matthew said that the generations were divided into 3 groups, each of them related to a specified event, and the number of generations for each group was :14; so the whole generations are: 3×14 = 42 generations, if you look upward to the table, you will see the whole numbers reached only to 41 !!!!!! it seemed that Matthew missed a name in the list, or he intended to miss it, maybe!!
It is impossible to convince a non-Christian person starting with such lies.
May Allah guide us to his Straight Way.
