when the perfect chance came to Jesus to explain the trinity, and he didn't use it, when he was asked how to attain eternal life, did Jesus explained the trinity to the man? That was perfect opportunity to explain instead what did Jesus say?
“And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” Matthew 19:16
He told him to keep the commandments because he was a messenger came to fulfil the message.
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
So why didn’t Jesus use that opportunity to explain to him, the doctrine of trinity ? because Jesus was not teaching it, he was teaching The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Stick to one or two questions. You asked who is cherry picking now? These kind of questions to answer prove nothing. Your questions are many and not clear to me. Ask one or two at a time. No one is trying to avoid your questions on purpose. You didn't say Jesus wasn't good; so, does that mean you believe He is good? I assume you posted that verse to prove to me Jesus is not good like most Muslims say the Bible says, but if you believe Jesus is good then you should believe He is God, because only God is good. Jesus didn't teach the trinity doctrine but neither did the apostles of Jesus, and I don't teach the doctrine of the trinity either nor are we commanded to. I just believe God is a trinity past finding out.
As for your other question: "Can you say I can’t do anything by myself, then in the next verse say but I do?? If the two verse contradicts each other then there is something wrong, and it will not make sense." I really don't understand what your question is or the point you're trying to make. Some times things look like a contradiction but in the right connotation they are both right. For example, some people say hang on and others say let go. That may sound contradicting but in the right connotation it makes sense with no contradictions. Let go of your doubt and fears and hang on to the Lord. We are not taught or told to teach the trinity we just Believe in God's tri unity as we also believe God is one. This bothers Muslims not Christians.
Peace

Ok where do you get the concept of trinity if Jesus didn’t teach it , and it is not in the scriptures ?
