Salam Alikum
The way God created Adam and Eve was perfect (how they were created) but they were imperfect because they are humans and all the creatures are imperfect because their mind is limited and they don't know the right thing to do untill they will be guided by God.
God created Adam for the earth not for the heaven and God examined Adam if he will obey God or not.
There is a difference between the story of Adam and Eve between Islam and the other religions and the Islamic story is the true one because the other storeis shows that God is unfair which is not true.
So Adam who decided to eat from the tree despite the warning of God not o eat so he is responsible for their fall
Hence, God knew that Adam will eat from the tree because God knows everything but He didn't force Adam not to make sins because man choose and then he will be rewarded or punished
