Diving in the treasures of the Holy Quran

Introduction
1) The Holy Quran is the true word of Allah (pbth) that " No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: it is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.(41/42). As Allah (swt) described himself "There is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).(42/12).Also there is no word like into Allah's word.There is no word whatever eloquent it is can be raised to the level of Allah's word.How can the words of the creator liken the words of the creatures .Although the Quran was sent down on Muhammad (through the angel Jibril ) in the Arabic language ,in the Arabic letters but it amazed the inhabitants of The Arabian Peninsula who were famous for literature such as poetry , prose and epic.They were fluent in their language and they were knowing completely the secrets of their language.When the messenger of Allah recited some verses of the Quran on ears of the heads of unbelievers they were shocked because the words of the Quran are neither poetry nor prose and the style of the Quran was strange on their ears and the listening to the Quran has strange effect on their spirits.That was very surprising that the heads of (Korysh) were afraid of the words of the Quran because they knew that those words are not of the speech of the Arab.They were supreme words .
2) For example when Muhammad (pbuh) recited some verses of the Quran on (Al-Walid bin Al-Moghira) one of the heads of the unbelievers of the tribe of Korysh his face changed and his heart seemed to be thin.When Amr bin Hesham (one of the biggest enemies of Muhammad and Islam – He was called Abu Al-Hakam" Abu governance " but the messenger of Allah called him Abu Gahl "Abu Ignorance" for his ignorance and foolishness)when Abu Gahl asked Al-Walid about the Quran he said : " By Allah ,its saying is the sweetness and on it the beauty, It is fruitful above Lavished below, It is above and nothing can be higher than it,it breaks beneath it" then Abu Gahl said : "That will not please your folk" then the other said:" So let me think, when he thought he relapsed and said: This is magic (affects on the others).Allah sent down verses on him.
3) The heads of the unbelievers fell in puzzlement.What they say to their companions and slaves.How to prevent people from listening to the Quran.What they say about Muhammad (pbuh).Lately they agreed to describe him as a magician comes with words that separates between the man and his wife.They advised their folk not to listen to the Quran." And those who disbelieve say: "Listen not to this Qur'ân, and make noise in the midst of its (recitation) that you may overcome."(41/26)
4) Due to the sweetness and thinness of the Quran those who wanted to prevent people from listening to the Quran used to go to listen to the Quran secretly in the darkness of night till two of them met each other suddenly in the darkness and began to blame each other for that.
4) The Quran challenged the unbelievers to come with a Surah (chapter) like the chapters of the Quran even the shortest chapter
"Say: "If the mankind and the jinn were together to produce the like of this Qur'ân, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." (17/88)
And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'ân) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a Sûrah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allâh, if you are truthful. But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

5) Allah (pbth) challenged all mankind individuals and communities to produce a Surah (chapter) like the Surahs of the Quran.Allah increased in challenge saying they can not do that and they will never do that in the future and the challenge is still until now.
6) The Holy Quran was sent down after the degeneration of humanity,the slipping of the values, the missing of faith and the spread of blasphemy and immorality and disobedience .So Allah descended the Quran to pick up the humanity from the muck and darkness of the blasphemy to the light of faith and oneness and monotheism
"Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the glad tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward;" (17/9)
7) After the extended hands of the spoilers to the Torah and the Gospel with distortions, deletions,additions and the addendum for the worldly belongings Allah has sent down the Holy Quran and pledged to preserve it till the day of resurrection saying: Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)(15/9)
So there is one version of the Quran from more than 1400 year and Allah (pbth) ordered us not only to recite the The Holy Quran but also to ponder on its verses carefully " Do they not ponder on the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many contradictions. (4/82)"
6) ISA( God willing) I intend to write a Quranic Series entitled " Diving in the treasures of the Quran" I will choose a verse or some verses of the Holy Quran .I will try with my humble efforts to touch the beauty of the words of Allah (pbth) because Allah said in the Quran : Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou would have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah, such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. (59/21) what about our hearts !!! .Why don't our hearts submit to the great words of Allah ? Why don't our eyes weep for fearing from Allah ? Why did our hearts became so solid as rocks? Allah (swt) blamed the sons of Israel because their hearts became hard as rocks,although some rocks gush from it rivers,some rocks fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah said :
"Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness. For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush, and indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water Soweth from them. And indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah is not unaware of what ye do" (2/72).
-- How can we revive our hearts ?How can we make them thin? I think the way is clear .Reading the Quran with a lot of meditation and the sunnah and the remembrance of Allah all the time.

Quranic Series.1

يقول الله سبحانه وتعالي في القرآن الكريم :
"أَوَمَنْ كَانَ مَيْتًا فَأَحْيَيْنَاهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُ نُورًا يَمْشِي بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ كَمَنْ مَثَلُهُ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍ مِنْهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ"

Allah The exalted said in the Holy Qur'an :
"Can he who was dead to whom We gave life, and a Light which he can walk with it in people, be like him who is in the depths of darkness, from which he can never come out? Thus to those without Faith their own deeds seem pleasing." (3/122)

Commentary :
1) As I said before in the introduction the words of Allah are different from any words can man say or write.The style of The Holy Qur'an is different from any style of any text in that world.The Holy Qur'an is not a book but it is The Book that " No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: it is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.(41/42). The eloquence of the Holy Quran is different from any eloquence of any other book.This is not a kind of partiality or fancy to the Holy Quran but that the witnesses of the orientalists that studied The Holy Quran accurately searching for any contradictions in it and the result was that some of them embraced Islam.
2) Let's come back to the verse of the Holy Qur'an.In this verse (Aayah) Allah used the style of question.This style calls to thinking and the working of mind.He (pbth) addresses the human's mind.That thing that Allah honoured the human with and favoured him on all his creatures.Allah talks about the faith and unbelief and gives an example for them asking the human (Can he equals between light and darkness or between the alive and the dead) of course the answer is known.Allah (pbth) considers the unbelievers who didn't believe in Allah or share one of his slaves with him in his kingdom or claim that he has a son dead people walking on the earth.They delated their minds and emptied their hearts from the spirit of faith .They eat as cattle eat and their fate is fire .The satan ornamented unbelief to them and inspirited to them that their deeds are the right deeds.
3) On the other side when Allah guides a person to faith He (pbth) revives him with the spirit of faith and grants him the light of the Holy Quran .Then he walks in people with that light.It is the stick of the blind man that guides him to the right way.
4) We must concentrate on the phrase " walk with it in people," Allah (pbth) did not say "among people" because the faithful with his heart that full of faith and the tolerance and cheerfulness on his face and his politeness in behaving with people enable him to enter the hearts of the others .Allah said in the Holy Quran :
"إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ الْأَنْعَامُ وَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَهُمْ"
"Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode" (47/12).
"اللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُمْ مِنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ"
"Allah is the patron and protector of those who have faith,bring them out from the depths of darkness, He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith their patrons are the Evil Ones,bring them out from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (for ever).(2/257)"

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
O ye who believe! Give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to whom Ye shall (all) be gathered. (8/24)
Commentary :
1) In this verse Allah (pbth) addresses the believers who He bestowed with faith.They believed in him as their only God .They did not share him with anyone of his slaves. He (pbth) endeared faith to them.Allah (pbth) calls the believers to respond to Allah and his messenger .We notice that Allah in the verse tied between responding to Allah and responding to the messenger because Allah sent down the message and the messenger covayed it completely and that proves how honest was the messenger of Allah on the inspiration and that the obedience of the messenger is the obedience of Allah and the love of the messenger is the same as the love of Allah .Allah said in the Holy Quran :
"وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانتَهُوا"
And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it) (59/7)
فَلاَ وَرَبِّكَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجِدُواْ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا
But no, by thy Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction. (4/65)
2) Allah (pbth) swore by his Supreme Holy Self that the faith of the believers will not be completed until they make the prophet judges in their disputes and they accept his dicisions with all satisfaction.
3) Allah says in the first verse "When He calleth you to that which will give you life;" that is the Holy Quran and Islam.What kind of life do the Holy Quran give man if he is already alive No it is a new kind of life .The Holy Quran is the heaven constitution which was sent from Allah to organize all that world.No humanbeing's hand extended to it as today's constitution.Although today's constitutions are human making and they contain a lot of contradictions peoples gave them a lot of holiness while the Holy Quran is the Curriculum that if we follow we will live a life full of peace and happiness
4) Allah said in the Quran:
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Whoever works righteousness, man or woman and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.(16/97)
