TheLXX version of Isaiah is less accurate. The translator itself--as tohis style--is purely Hellenizing the Hebrew text to avoid Hebraisms.Therefore his translation would be less accurate. Here is the AramaicPeshitta (AP) version of Isaiah:

Theword Jacob(Hebrewיעק(ו)ב,Aramaic יעקב)does not appear in none of the above texts (GIS, MT, AP). Thissuggests it did not appear in the original text. The use of theAramaic root קרבmeaningtobe nearmight support the etymology that Hebrew אתמךethmakhisthe Qal imperfective 1st Person singular of תמךtamakhmeaningtosupport(as in beingnear toyour supporter).

TheGIS shows us the older form of אתמךethmakh(i.e.*ethmokh,which explains the וbetweenמandכ).The additional הsuffixedto the verb maybe a scribal error. הנה(usedby the GIS) is merely the fuller form of הן.To explain the difference between GIS and MT (אתמ(ו)כ(הandHM (Hebrew Matthew) אשרבחרתיissimply this: that Matthew copied the verse from memory. They didn'thave their personal Isaiah scrolls which they carried everywherelike our Bibles today. It can be as simple as that. The use of theGIS and HM conjunctive ו(meaningand),prefixed to the word משפטmeaningjudgment,suggests that this is the original reading. GIS and MT נתתיandHM אתןbothare derived from the same verb--except that the latter is theimperfective, and the former is the perfective (i.e. perfective נתתי=Igaveand imperfective אתן=Igive).This can again reflect Matthew's memory of the verse. To tell you thetruth, he was quite accurate in his copy.
