If by interfaith dialogue you seek to destroy the beliefs of someone who believes different to yourself and persuade them to accept your view as truth.. Then for sure, I do see that as time wasting, counterproductive and kinda of unethical.
If you wish enter into dialogue as a means of learning of the faith of others then I see that as a good thing. Not to persuade or cajole but in order to better understand another's point of view of the same God we share. Because I believe better understanding leads to a peaceful coexistence .. Surely that is a good thing.
If you hold to the former then I see no point in any kind of dialogue with you.. As it will go nowhere.
Shame .. Because I have quite got to like you :) despite that you can be a bit of a meanie at times. :)
