Wow, very good message, Thank you very much. You've just opened my
eyes. Now I realise that Islam is the truth.
Does that mean you accept it as a religion and you need to revert to
    it?
    or
you still need more information about Isalm?
What I want to say, I am really proud of you that you start to think
logically and neutrally with no bias to any ristricts of any kind...
I am sure that God guides you to His real religion He accepts.
    And please, Supplicate to God
The Father that Christ prayed for Him
Ask Him to guide you to his true religion
Ask him honestly, truthfully to Guide you
    Be sure
He will Gide you to the real religion

    The religion of peace

"What are the criteria of the ideal religion, once you find them in a
religion , you will follow it?"
    1 Should be peaceful
    2 Practicing compassion
    3 Should be tolerant
    4 Should be true
    5 Includes belief in God
Btw, Do you know if it's possible to read the Quran on the internet?
I am indicating how Islam is the religion of what you mentioned and
    more than you said.

    Should be peaceful
First, the meaning of Islam means "Peace"
Second, read the following verse to see if Islam calles for peace
    terrorism !!
5|16|Whereby Allah guideth him who seeketh His good
    pleasure unto paths of peace.
He bringeth them out of darkness
unto light by His decree, and guideth them unto a straight path.
See God guides to peace and loves it
And read this verse, God orderd His prophet to say peace, and how merciful he was
6|54|And when those who believe in Our revelations come
unto thee, say: Peace be unto you! Your Lord hath
    prescribed for Himself mercy,
that whoso of you doeth evil and
repenteth afterward thereof and doeth right, (for him) lo!
    Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
    more
10|25|And Allah summoneth to the abode of
    peace,
and leadeth whom He will to a straight path.
God made our greeting in this world and in the pradise
    saying "peace"

14|23|And those who believed and did good works are made to enter
Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein abiding by permission of
their Lord, their greeting therein: Peace!
This greeting from God to whom obyed him
13|24|(Saying): Peace be unto you because ye
persevered. Ah, passing sweet will be the sequel of the (heavenly)
    Home.
    Again peace
16|32|Those whom the angels cause to die (when they are) good.
They say: Peace be unto you! Enter the Garden because
of what ye used to do.

How Muslims deal with foolish people
25|63|The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon
the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address
    them answer: Peace;

How Muslim should deal with disbilevers as long as they do not harm
    Muslims

28|55|And when they hear vanity they withdraw from it and say: Unto us
our works and unto you your works. Peace be unto you!
    We desire not the ignorant.

    More An order to forgive
them and say peace, but when their torture and harm on Muslims were
    unendurable
then God orderd them to defend themthelves, but first, it was
    forgiveness

43|89|Then bear with them (O Muhammad)
and say: Peace. But they will come to know.
Just Put in mind the prophet Muhammad was not ordered to fight till
disblievers killed and hurted Muslims till it was unendurable...
As any right needs power to defend it and fight for it. doesn't it?
and when they fight, they have to take care if anybody
said peace, they can't fight him

4|94|O ye who believe! When ye go forth (to fight) in the way of Allah,
be careful to discriminate, and say not unto one who
offereth you peace: "Thou are not a believer;" seeking the chance
    profits of this life
(so that ye may despoil him). With Allah
are plenteous spoils. Even thus (as he now is) were ye before; but
Allah hath since then been gracious unto you.
Therefore take care to discriminate. Allah is ever
    informed of what ye do.

Now , my decent addressee, You yourself can judge,
    [
COLOR="DarkRed"]was Islam calling for peace or
    terrorism?!!![/COLOR]

    Practicing compassion

See, how we are orderd to be compassion with the most worthy of it,
    i.e., your parents

    read,
17|23|Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him, and (that
ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them to attain
old age with thee, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak
    unto them a gracious word.
17|24|And lower unto them the wing of submission through mercy, and
say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I
    was little.
see, how we are ordered to be so kind with them, care for them, pray
for them and never say a word hurts them.

    compassion on you
4|29|O ye who believe! Squander not your wealth among yourselves in
vanity, except it be a trade by mutual consent, and kill not one
another. Lo! Allah is ever Merciful unto you.
[COLOR="R30|21|And of His signs is this: He created for you helpmeets from
yourselves that ye might find rest in them, and He
ordained between you love and mercy
    . Lo, herein indeed are
    portents for folk who reflect.

    compassion on wife

2|223|Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth
as ye will, and send (good deeds) before you for your souls, and fear
Allah, and know that ye will (one day) meet Him. Give glad tidings to
    believers, (O Muhammad).
4|19|O ye who believe! It is not lawful for you forcibly to inherit the
women (of your deceased kinsmen), nor (that) ye should put constraint
upon them that ye may take away a part of that which ye have given
them, unless they be guilty of flagrant lewdness. But consort with them
in kindness, for if ye hate them it may happen that ye hate a thing
wherein Allah hath placed much good.

    compassion with your divorced women
2|236|It is no sin for you if ye divorce women while yet ye have not
touched them, nor appointed unto them a portion. Provide for them, the
rich according to his means, and the straitened according to his means,
a fair provision. (This is) a bounden duty for those who do good.
2|237|If ye divorce them before ye have touched them and ye have
appointed unto them a portion, then (pay the) half of that which ye
appointed, unless they (the women) agree to forgo it, or he agreeth to
forgo it in whose hand is the marriage tie. To forgo is nearer to
piety. And forget not kindness among yourselves. Allah is Seer of what
    ye do.
2|232|And when ye have divorced women and they reach their term, place
not difficulties in the way of their marrying their husbands if it is
agreed between them in kindness. This is an admonition for him among
you who believeth in Allah and the Last Day. That is more virtuous for
you, and cleaner. Allah knoweth: ye know not.

    compassion on aggressor
49|9|And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace
between them. And if one party of them doeth wrong to the other, fight
    ye that which doeth wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah;
then, if it return, make peace between them
justly, and act equitably. Lo! Allah loveth the equitable.
16|125|Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation,
and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is best aware of
him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go
    aright.
41|34|The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil
deed with one which is better, then lo! he, between whom and thee there
was enmity (will become) as though he was a bosom friend.

    Compassion on others
59|9|Those who entered the city and the faith before them love these
who flee unto them for refuge, and find in their breasts no need for
that which hath been given them, but prefer (the fugitives) above
themselves though poverty become their lot. And whoso is saved from his
own avarice such are they who are successful.
90|14|And to feed in the day of hunger
90|17|And to be of those who believe and exhort one another to
perseverance and export one another to pity.
    How to greet others
4|86|When ye are greeted with a greeting, greet ye with a better than
it or return it. Lo! Allah taketh count of all things.
    The prophet (PBUH)
ordered us to be compassionate even with animals
He ordered us to feed them as long as we keep them, not to harm them,
    not to harm them.
And if we need to sloughter an animal, we should comfort it, and
sharpen the blade, and to hide the blade not to see it...

    Should be tolerant
Read these verses and be the judge
2|109|Many of the People of the Scripture long to make you disbelievers
after your belief, through envy on their own account, after the truth
hath become manifest unto them. Forgive and be
    indulgent
(toward them) until Allah give command. Lo! Allah is
    Able to do all things.
5|13|And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them
and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and
forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease
to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But
bear with them and pardon them.
    Lo! Allah loveth the kindly
15|85|We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between
them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming.
So forgive, O Muhammad, with a gracious
    forgiveness.

24|22|And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear
not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for
the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence.
Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you? Allah is Forgiving,
    Merciful.

43|89|Then bear with them (O Muhammad) and say:
    Peace.
But they will come to know.
Now say it .... is Islam tolerant or not?

    Includes belief in God
2|163|Your God is One God; there is no God save Him, the Beneficent,
    the Merciful.
6|102|Such is Allah, your Lord. There is no God save Him, the Creator
of all things, so worship Him. And He taketh care of all things.
7|158|Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to
you all--(the messenger of) Him unto whom belongeth the Sovereignty of
the heavens and the earth. There is no God save Him. He quickeneth and
He giveth death. So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who
can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His words and
follow him that haply ye may be led aright.
9|31|They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks
and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to
worship only One God. There is no god save Him
    . Be He glorified
from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!
20|8|Allah! There is no God save Him. His are the most beautiful names.
20|14|Lo! I, even I, am Allah. There is no God save Me. So serve Me
and establish worship for My remembrance.
20|98|Your God is only Allah, than Whom there is no other God He
embraceth all things in His knowledge.
23|116|Now Allah be exalted, the True King! There is no God save Him,
the Lord of the Throne of Grace.
28|88|And cry not unto any other god along with Allah. There is no God
save him. Everything will perish save His countenance. His is the
command, and unto Him ye will be brought back.
39|6|He created you from one being, then from that (being) He made its
mate; and He hath provided for you of cattle eight kinds. He created
you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in a
threefold gloom. Such is Allah, your Lord. His is the Sovereignty.
There is no God save Him. How then are ye turned away?
59|22|He is Allah, than whom there is no other God, the Knower of the
invisible and the visible. He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.
59|23|He is Allah, than whom there is no other God, the Sovereign Lord
the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic,
the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they
    ascribe as partner (unto Him).
These are some verses which talk about belief in
    God

    .....................

    What is righteousness

2|177|It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and
the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day
and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets; and giveth his
wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and
the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and
observeth proper worship and payeth the poor due. And those who keep
their treaty when they make one, and the patient in tribulation and
adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are
    the God fearing.

    See what God banned us

6|151|Say: Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord hath made
a sacred duty for you: that ye ascribe no thing as partner unto Him and
that ye do good to parents, and that ye slay not your children because
of penury--We provide for you and for them--and that ye draw not nigh
to lewd things whether open or concealed. And that ye slay not the life
which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. This He
hath commanded you, in order that ye may discern.
6|152|And approach not the wealth of the orphan save with that which is
better; till he reach maturity. Give full measure and full weight, in
justice. We task not any soul beyond its scope. And if ye give your
word, do justice thereunto, even though it be (against) a kinsman; and
fulfil the covenant of Allah. This He commandeth you that haply ye may
    remember.
6|153|And (He commandeth you, saying) : This is My straight path, so
follow it Follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from His way: This
hath He ordained for you, that ye may ward off (evil).

    Dear decent addressee
6|157|Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto
us, we surely had been better guided than are they. Now hath there come
unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and a mercy; and who
doeth greater wrong than he who denieth the revelations of Allah, and
turneth away from them? We award unto those who turn away from Our
revelations an evil doom because of their aversion.
see, drear what God needs and what others need
4|27|And Allah would turn to you in mercy; but those who follow vain
desires would have you go tremendously astray.
39|22|Is he whose bosom Allah hath expanded for the Surrender (unto
Him), so that he followeth a light from His Lord, (as he who
disbelieveth)? Then woe unto those whose hearts are hardened against
remembrance of Allah. Such are in plain error.
    Come on !!!!
Don't you like to be one of God loves them?!!!!!

3|133|And vie one with another for forgiveness from your Lord, and for
a Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for those
    who ward off (evil);

Btw, Do you know if it's possible to read the Quran on the internet?
Fot sure you can read it on the internt

    Read this verse

5|82|Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And thou wilt find the nearest of them in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud.
5|83|When they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the messenger, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of their recognition of the Truth. They say: Our Lord, we believe. Inscribe us as among the witnesses.
5|84|How should we not believe in Allah and that which hath come unto us of the Truth. And (how should we not) hope that our Lord will bring us in along with righteous folk?
5|85|Allah hath rewarded them for that their saying--Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever. That is the reward of the good.

This verse tells your seate that you are the
closest people to us .... and when you get the message to believe in Allah you accept it.

Do not wait No body knows when he will die
Say it , believe in it
If you say it and believe in it, you become a muslim
