The tragedy in Gaza Strip is a tragedy for every human being, Muslim or not. With hundreds of children, women and innocent civilians slaughtered since the beginning of the assault we have the obligation as member of the human society first, and as Muslims second to act.
What is below outlines some ways in which Muslims who live in the united states in particulate and Muslims in general can try to help the people of Gaza.

Contact the media:

Encourage and Educate others:
Contact your friends, colleagues, family members and ask them to contact their elected officials (each voice counts).
Gather all your family members (sons,daughters,brothers,sisters..) and tell them about the story of occupied Palestine and about Al-aqsa Masjid.
Build a Donation Box then placed in your home and call it Alaqsa box, then send the money at the end of the month to a relief rganization to help brothers and sisters in need in Palestine

Organize and join demonstrations against the war..[*]Pass out fliers with facts and figures about Palestine and Gaza in your community (make sure also to mention its relevance to the audience: e.g, US taxpayers paying for the carnage, increase in world instability and economic uncertainty).
Put a bumper sticker on your car
]Do outreach: to neighbors, friends and the whole humanity in everyway
Start your own activist group or join other local groups.
Do a group fast for peace one day and hold it in a public place.
Express support to human rights and other groups working on the ground in Palestine.
Contact local churches, mosques, synagogues, and other houses of worship and ask them to take a moral stand and act. Call on your mosque to dedicate the Friday sermon or evening program for Gaza actions.

Work with other groups that do not share your political views (factionalism and excessive divisions within activist communities allowed those who advocate war to succeed)
