Another proof is the Hebrew origin of the word תַּחַת which means below, beneath or even in place of (Gesenius' Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon)

This is exactly the word in:
Deuteronomy 4:11 Hebrew Study Bible (Apostolic / Interlinear):
וַתִּקְרְב֥וּן וַתַּֽעַמְד֖וּן תַּ֣חַת הָהָ֑ר וְהָהָ֞ר בֹּעֵ֤ר בָּאֵשׁ֙ עַד־ לֵ֣ב הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם חֹ֖שֶׁךְ עָנָ֥ן וַעֲרָפֶֽל׃
which was mis-translated in KJV:
