From The Saying of The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) (3)

"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْعُقُوبَةِ مَا طَمِعَ بِجَنَّتِهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْكَافِرُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ مَا قَنِطَ مِنْ جَنَّتِهِ أَحَد." 7155 (مسلم )
Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (pbuh) said:"If a believer were to know the punishment (in Hell) none would have the audacity to aspire for Paradise (but he would earnestly desire to be rescued from Hell), and if a non-believer were to know what is there with Allah as a mercy. none would have been disappointed in regard to Paradise "" (Muslim )
Commentary
1) In this Hadith the messenger of Allah (pbuh ) mentioned paradise and hell and also mentioned believers and non-believers . If a believer think of hell and what Allah (pbth) prepared for those who disobeyed Allah and committed a lot sins.If he thought in horrible punishment and remembered the Hadith of the prophet that tells us that not our good deeds will enter us paradise but by the mercy of Allah and his amnestying .A believer may lose hope in entering paradise .
2) As for the non-believer who lost the hope of Allah (pbth) to enter paradise because he disbelieved in him or said that Allah (pbth ) has a son or a partner and committed sins.Allah gives him the hope to enter paradise because his door of mercy , forgiveness and repentance is always open . Allah doesn't refuse any one of his slaves if he comes and knocks at his door he will find his door open and Allah will forgive him and on the contrary, He will replace his evil deeds into good deeds and will double them and will enter him paradise.
3) I think that we must not lose hope in Allah and I think that as our Islamic scholars
said that we must live in this life with two wings .The wing of hope and the wing of fear.When we remember our God's forgiveness, his love for us.and that he loves us more than our parents.He wants us to live a happy and a peaceful life.That strengthens our feeling of hope and be greedy of his generosity and that he will allow us to enter paradise then we remember our sins,our crimes and that we disobeyed him much.This strengthen our feeling of fear and be afraid of his anger and he can drop us in hellfire and then we remember His mercy again and his forgiveness and He accepts repentance and that makes the feeling of hope raise and so on.There is punishment in the day of judgment to those who committed crimes,adultery,thefts and disobedience because God (pbth )will achieve justice in the day of Resurrection .
