Default If God is love, then can God also be hate? In Central African Republic

We, daily, hear sad news of genocide against Muslims in Central African Republic committed by the Christian militias. It is a shame that at the same time Christian missionaries reach and cry (God is Love), so what we see is (love of God)?, in nearby African countries in far away villages we hear them crying (If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.). Yes, if what we see is (Love) and (turn cheek), I wonder what (Hate) and (Fight back) would be while we see what happens in Central African Republic, in our modern days in-front all of the world, and nobody worries about. There is, by noway, no excuse for this genocide, killing, bloodshedding, and violence against Muslims in this country. They cant vanish Islam by killing and threatening Central African Muslims.

If there is political and/or religious purposes behind this struggle and conflict in all of Africa and specially Central African Republic the truth is Islam and Muslims are targeted. May be there are who fuel this unholy war and gets benefits the Africans pay for this especially the Muslims. West has full control over Africa, and no one can deny this fact. West still looks at Africa as a colonial piece of land, can not allow any threat to its interests there. Mali and Central African Republic are the witnesses to "how the continent of Africa is still slave to the West, mafias, smugglers, weapon traders, diamond traders, cultivations, starvation, Tribal and religion wars and conflicts, black market of weapons and fueling wars are all run by West. The scandals surrounding the African European personalities are evidences to (Africa is not free). Those poor Africans who have been used as a tool for the interest of West do not realize this bitter truth, they do not realize that they implement the dirty plans planned and plotted by others. Those poor Africans who die for a drink of water and a bread, who live in starving and camps, and die of famine and hunger, die of diseases and corruption (financial, political, moral...), it is better for them to find their way in this tough merciless world and free themselves from the Western monopoly. African Christians after being mis-leaded by Christian missionaries , and have their treasures and natural resources been stolen by the Western mafias, it is know to kill poor innocent Muslims who have done nothing to them.

Yes, this is where love leads you, swamp of sins and blood. But do not worry since God crucified for your sins, so you are forgiven.

May Allah protect Muslims everywhere... And send peace to all the people of the world.

Since the West entered Africa and built colonies, instability, killing, wars, conflicts, starvation and hunger became the identities of Africa. Yes may be west has left Africa geographically, but politically West still exists and is there. There is no peace in Africa until west leaves them and stops interfering and meddling around, once through spies, once through corrupted governments and politicians, once through huge giant companies, once through weapon traders, once through precious stones smugglers and once through those militias. Yet they refer to them selves (peaceful) and cry (God is Love), they claim that they (turn the other cheek)

Why is nobody in the EU/US not saying a thing about this?

What are their motivations (Christian's), what do they kill for? and fight for?

Children shot in the streets, how many parents would forget such an ordeal ? or forgive the killers?

Thing is, now Muslims are having their children shot in the street: how many parents would forgive and forget something like that?

And the painful fact is that some are above criticism, some groups are always right whatever they do.

U.N. says west of Central African Republic 'cleansed' of Muslims

(Reuters) - Most Muslims have been driven out of the western half of conflict-torn Central African Republic, where thousands of civilians risk of being killed "right before our eyes," the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees said on Thursday.

The bleak warning came as the country's foreign minister pleaded with the U.N. Security Council to urgently approve a U.N. peacekeeping force to stop the killing.

Widespread violence in the former French colony has claimed thousands of lives since Seleka, a coalition of mostly Muslim northern rebels, seized power a year ago. Attacks intensified in December when "anti-Balaka" militias drawn from the majority Christian population stepped up reprisals on Muslims.

"Since early December we have effectively witnessed a 'cleansing' of the majority of the Muslim population in western CAR," U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres told a meeting of the 15-nation U.N. Security Council on the crisis in the impoverished and landlocked country.

"Tens of thousands of them (Muslims) have left the country, the second refugee outflow of the current crisis, and most of those remaining are under permanent threat," he said.

The council is considering a U.N. proposal for a nearly 12,000-strong peacekeeping force to stop the country from sliding toward what a top U.N. rights official called "ethnic-religious cleansing." If approved, the U.N. force would likely not be operational before late summer.

"Just last week, there were about 15,000 people trapped in 18 locations in western CAR, surrounded by anti-Balaka elements and at very high risk of attack," Guterres said.

"International forces are present in some of these sites, but if more security is not made available immediately, many of these civilians risk being killed right before our eyes."

Guterres said that until last year CAR "was largely a stranger to religious conflict." But the worsening bloodshed has enabled armed groups to use religion as a pretext for violence.

"The demon of religious cleansing must be stopped - now," he said. Guterres' spokeswoman Melissa Fleming said western CAR was roughly half the country.

    'SURGE' OF PEACEKEEPERS NEEDED

Central African Republic's Foreign Minister Toussaint Kongo-Doudou told the council that his country's survival depended on the urgent deployment of a U.N. force. U.N. peacekeeping chief Herve Ladsous also spoke about the dire need for U.N. troops.

"The state has virtually no capacity to manage the massive array of threats it is facing," Ladsous said. "There is no national army and the remnants of the police and gendarmerie lack the basic equipment and means to exercise their duties, while state administration is largely absent."

The European Union is already deploying 1,000 soldiers to join 6,000 African and 2,000 French troops. Those forces have so far not been able to halt the killings and restore stability.

U.N. humanitarian chief Valerie Amos told the council that there are more than 650,000 people internally displaced in CAR due to the conflict, over 232,000 in the capital Bangui alone. Nearly 300,000 people have fled to neighboring countries.

"The violence has led to the total breakdown of the state, locally and nationally," she said.

Ladsous said he hoped to include as many of the African contingents as possible in a future U.N. force. U.N. officials have told Reuters on condition of anonymity that few of the African contingents are trained and equipped to U.N. standards.

Ladsous said the initial phase of a peacekeeping operation would have to focus on helping to establish security.

"This will require an initial surge of military personnel and corresponding military enablers," he said. "Alongside this initial military surge, essential civilian capacities will be deployed, phased in gradually as the situation stabilizes."

Ladsous said it will cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

The force will need to be approved by the Security Council. Diplomats said France will submit within the next few weeks a draft resolution to authorize a peacekeeping force in line with U.N. recommendations.

French Ambassador Gerard Araud said Paris supports Ladsous' call for some 10,000 troops and 1,820 police but he predicted a "very difficult negotiation" on the resolution. Diplomats say the United States and Britain are especially concerned about costs due to national requirements for legislative approval.

But U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power voiced support for U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon's call for a U.N. force in CAR. "We are prepared to work closely with partners starting immediately to move forward in developing a peacekeeping operation that can meet the challenges in the Central African Republic," she said.

    http://www.aina.org/news/20131127122830.htm

there is no black and white here as there is really no basis for these atrocities in religion, either Christian or Muslim.. What this is plain and simple is revenge. Yet we should know an eye for an eye mentality can only make the world blind. You say Christians do these evil things and if I say to you muslims flew the planes in 9/11 and killed thousands of innocent people.. Would you agree that these people who flew the planes were muslims in any true way according to Islam? I am hoping you would say ~ "no they were not " ~ see what I mean? That is why I can say with truth that these evil people who do evil and call themselves Christian are not Christian where it counts.. In their heart. They are not acting according to the teachings of The Christ.. And on that basis they cease to be Christians.

This from the article in the link below... This man is a true Christian, which I think the muslims he saved would know. He IS acting according to the teachings of the Christ Jesus.

In the town of Boali, 60 miles to the north, the Catholic priest Xavier-Arnauld Fagba went from house to house and into the bush to offer Muslims sanctuary in his church. "When the Muslims were attacked, the people didn't help them," said Fagba, 31, who became a priest four months ago. "That's when I decided to look for them and bring them here. I did it in the name of my faith. My faith asks me to transcend the most difficult obstacles."

Nearly 700 people took up his offer and moved into the church.

But most local Christians disagreed with Fagba's courageous stand and one day his car was surrounded by anti-balaka armed with knives and machetes. He got out to show that he did not fear them and, just then, their commander called off the assault.

In another incident last month, more than 300 anti-balaka surrounded the church and opened fire through its thinly protected walls. Fagba hurled himself to the ground and shouted at everyone else to do the same – and no one was killed or injured. He says some 30 bullet holes can still be seen in the church walls.

You see muslims the only innocent victims in this human catastrophe? Shame on you.. There are no winners or losers in such a calamity.. Only losers on all sides.

in answer to your question.. Yes.. God is love, but no... God can never be hate. God cannot be anything contrary to His divine nature and to be Hate.. Would be contrary to His Holiness. I am amazed that you do not know this fact. Hate is the province of Satan alone.. I am also amazed that you do not see that also.

Again you are misinformed if you believe that the Christ dying for our sin means we do not answer for the sins we commit during our life on earth at the judgement.

    Peace to you.

I spread hate ? You are wrong, those who spread hate are Christians. I do not know how some lines spread hate while the conflict is fueled and run by Christian extremists. I am sure it is a plot to displace Muslims after killing thousands of them. Such kind of sites exaggerate and spread hate and word on it. Do not trust those sites and do not believe them, what we believe (since we are not there) are the reports from Amnesty International and United nations, who both confirm the horrible truth of "Muslims killed in sectarian and genocide and forced migration of the Muslims", there are many other neutral and reports confirm the horrible attacks on Muslims. Of course this sorrowful event triggers danger on the peaceful life between the Muslims and Christians in all Africa along side with other tribes, believes and religions, the loser is African, not west who fuels the conflicts throughout Africa. We all saw how the French forces killed and displaced Muslims in Mali, but we kept quite. IN Central African Republic Christians initiated attacks against our armless Muslim brothers and sisters.
Of course you do not like to talk about who supplies them with weapons and arms, because it is the western mafias.

Shame on you Pandora, you are allowed to exaggerate and put imaginary reports and numbers so as to mislead people but when it is (shame on us) to say the truth, this is pathetic.
I am not lamenting only for Muslims but all Africans who are living in hunger and starvation because of the aftermath of colonialism. They pay and they are the victims in the first place. Africa was a very developed and civilized continent when it was once under the rule of Islamic khalafa they lived their golden age, but after the occupations by western countries they stepped back hundreds of years. We Muslims never want to hurt anyone, neither physically nor their feelings.
Since the western countries are the first and last decision makers concerning these issues, the blame is put on them, and they want the conflicts to go one and each time under a name to protect their interests and to sell more weapons......etc. i wish other Christians will follow Xavier-Arnauld Fagba, who is a very unique in such a conflict that we see no mercy, and all what we hear is "kill the muslims" nothing else. It is a sorrow that he is the only one, and has nothing to do only offering helps, we hope the militias and decision makers follow him. He saved tens and there are still thousands killed and millions fled their homes. the help from this priest shows how much suffering they went through and how much they need help and need a shelter.
I really hope the conflict ends soon, and everybody returns to their homes and live peacefully, but of course it depends on the Christian militias anti-Balaka and all who support them.

Please could you tell me why my post in reply to yours was cut and edited? Why is it that you are free to post what you wish and I cannot offer a reply in freedom.? Why are you allowed to twist my words? Is there no freedom of speech here and is that indicative of Islam itself?

I feel there is no place for me here amongst such sharp practice. All my life I have always tried my best to be honest, fair and impartial in my dealings with people I interact with. Whilst here I have tried my best to remain polite, often in the face of rudeness from members here. Not to mention the insults against my faith, belief and Christ Jesus. I have taken this with little complaint even though it hurts when I see these insults to Christ Jesus over and over again.

I continue to to offer good wishes to you in your life and I hope and pray that God guides you to the right path.

    peace.
