قال رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم : "إن الصدق يهدي إلى البر ، وإن البر يهدي إلى الجنة ، وإن الرجل ليصدق حتى يكتب عند الله صديقا ، وإن الكذب يهدي إلى الفجور ، وإن الفجور يهدي إلى النار ، وإن الرجل ليكذب ، حتى يكتب عند الله كذابا" الراوي: عبدالله بن مسعود المحدث: البخاري - المصدر: صحيح البخاري - الصفحة أو الرقم: 6094 خلاصة حكم المحدث: [صحيح] Ibn Mas`ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah (pradise ). A man persists in speaking the truth till he is recorded with Allah as a truthful man. Falsehood leads to transgression and transgression leads to the Hell-fire. A man continues to speak falsehood till he is recorded with Allah as a great liar" (Al-Bukhari and Muslim ) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- قال رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم : "آية المنافق ثلاث : إذا حدث كذب ، وإذا وعد أخلف ، وإذا اؤتمن خان" الراوي: أبو هريرة المحدث: البخاري - المصدر: صحيح البخاري - الصفحة أو الرقم: 6095 خلاصة حكم المحدث: [صحيح] Allah's Apostle said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; and whenever he promises, he breaks his promise; and whenever he is entrusted, he betrays (proves to be dishonest)" (Al-Bukhari ) Commentary : 1) The messenger of Allah (pbuh ) Loved his Ummah (nation) very much and was very faithful in reaching the message of Allah (pbth ) to it , so he didn't leave any evil thing till He warned us to avoid doing it and He didn't leave any good thing till he commanded us to do it. 2) In the previous Ahadith the messenger of Allah (pbuh) motivates us to say the truth because the truth leads to the satisfaction of Allah (pbth ) and then leads to paradise and warned us from falsehood because falsehood leads to the anger of Allah and it is one of the characteristic of the hypocrite and at the same time teaches us to avoid being hypocrite and never break our promise and never betrays anyone.
